Buying an ALDI Gift Card
What Gift Card values are available?
ALDI Gift Cards are available in €10, €20, €50, €100, €200 and €500 values.
Are these physical Gift Cards?
Yes. Gift Cards ordered through this website are physical Gift Cards delivered by post.
Can I order more than one Gift Card?
Yes. There is no standard maximum quantity or maximum total order value.
Can I add a personalised message?
No. Personalised messages are not currently available.
Can I send a Gift Card directly to someone else?
Yes. Your delivery address can be different from your billing address. Only one delivery address can be used per order.
Delivery
Is delivery free?
Yes. Delivery is free on all physical ALDI Gift Card orders.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver to addresses within the Republic of Ireland only.
When will my order be dispatched?
Orders placed before 8am Monday to Friday are normally dispatched the same working day.
Orders placed after 8am, at weekends or on bank holidays are normally dispatched the next working day.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are sent using An Post and usually arrive within 24–48 hours after dispatch.
Delivery times are estimates and may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our control.
Will I receive tracking information?
No. Tracking references are not currently provided.
What should I do if my order hasn't arrived?
If your order has not arrived within five working days of dispatch, email giftcards@aldi.ie with your order number.
Activation & High-Value Orders
Will my Gift Cards arrive ready to use?
Orders valued below €2,000 are dispatched activated and ready to use.
What happens if my order is €2,000 or more?
For security, orders valued at €2,000 or more are delivered before the Gift Cards are loaded.
Once you receive your order, email giftcards@aldi.ie to confirm receipt and request loading.
Requests received before 12pm on a working day will be loaded that working day. Requests received after 12pm may still be processed that day, but loading is not guaranteed until the next working day.
We will reply to your email when your Gift Cards have been loaded.
Using Your Gift Card
Where can I use my ALDI Gift Card?
ALDI Gift Cards can be used in participating ALDI stores throughout the Republic of Ireland.
Can I use my Gift Card online?
No. ALDI Gift Cards can only be used in-store.
How long is my Gift Card valid for?
ALDI Gift Cards are valid for five years from the date of activation.
Do I have to spend the full balance at once?
No. You can spend part of the balance and keep the remaining amount on the Gift Card for a future purchase.
Will I receive cash change?
No. Any unused balance remains on the Gift Card.
Can I use more than one Gift Card in the same transaction?
Yes. Multiple ALDI Gift Cards can be used towards the same purchase.
What if my purchase costs more than my Gift Card balance?
You can pay the difference using another payment method accepted in-store or additional ALDI Gift Cards.
Are there anything I can't buy with an ALDI Gift Card?
ALDI Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase:
- ALDI Gift Cards or other gift cards;
- Lotto products, lottery tickets or scratchcards; or
- products through ALDI websites.
Can I resell an ALDI Gift Card?
No. ALDI Gift Cards must not be purchased for commercial resale.
Checking Your Balance
How do I check my Gift Card balance?
You can check your balance using our Check Your Balance page by entering your Gift Card number and PIN.
You can also ask for your balance at an ALDI store checkout.
Problems With a Gift Card
What should I do if my Gift Card is damaged, faulty or the wrong value?
Email giftcards@aldi.ie with your order number and details of the issue. We will investigate and arrange an appropriate replacement or refund where applicable.
What if my Gift Card is lost or stolen?
Email giftcards@aldi.ie as soon as possible.
We may be able to arrange a replacement where the remaining balance has not been used and the Gift Card can be verified. Replacement cannot be guaranteed.
Cancellations & Refunds
Can I cancel my order?
If your order has not yet been dispatched, email giftcards@aldi.ie as soon as possible with your order number.

How long do refunds take?
Approved refunds are normally made to the original payment method and usually appear within 3–5 working days after processing, depending on your bank or payment provider.
